the yelling screaming
fighting drinking bleeding
and then finally sinking

lulled to sleep
by a twisted lullaby
which tries to comfort you
note by note
a haunting melody that
slowly tears you apart
with razors and knives
staining a blood red dress
which hides the scars
and then finally
when you cant take it anymore
you are there
knocking on death's door

you have to keep trying to get in
and still failing
stopped by the real world
it fast becomes a game of tag
escaping reality
trying not to be caught
and then finally

you succeed
the door opens
and lulls you to sleep
upon death's bed
